Giny Hillman grew up in Vernon BC and started dancing at the age of 3 yrs old. She took RAD ballet exams for 16 years and also attended dance competitions throughout BC as a child and teen. She took dance lessons in Vernon and Prince George BC. As a young teen she taught classes at En Avant School Of Dance in Vernon BC and Enchainment Dance Studio in Prince George BC. As a young adult she taught classes in Vernon, Kelowna, Richmond and Langley BC. Giny, her husband and children moved from Kelowna BC to SK in 2009 where she taught for the Roblin Dance Club and also for the Wade Dance Centre in Russell MB, before opening up her own dance studio, Hillman Dance Studio in 2013 in Roblin MB and in 2018 in Churchbridge SK (Churchbridge location closed as of April 2026.) She also taught a Hip-hop workshop for Leaps and Bounds Dance Studio back in 2010. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor and has been since the summer of 2017.
She also has over 35 years of experience teaching dance.
